The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program helps nominate skilled workers or entrepreneurs for permanent residency in Alberta. Communities in Alberta must apply for designation before endorsing qualified candidates. This allows them to support temporary foreign workers with job offers from Alberta employers and endorse refugees through the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot with the assistance of non-governmental referral partners.
The Tourism and Hospitality Stream is for foreign workers in Alberta's tourism and hospitality sector with a full-time job offer from a qualifying employer in an eligible occupation. A positive LMIA and meeting minimum eligibility criteria are required.
