British Columbia recently held a draw for permanent residency. 74 invitations were sent, including 47 to those with various skills and education backgrounds, where the score needed to get an invitation slightly dropped. 9 invitations were given to those working with young children or in construction, and 9 to people in healthcare jobs. This provides opportunities for people with different work experiences.

Required Checklist for BC Columbia PNP
- You have a valid job offer or employer sponsorship
- English language proficiency must be CLB level 7 or higher.
- You must have two years of work experience in the same occupation.
- You must have a bachelor's degree in order to receive a job offer for BC.
- Your marital status significantly increase your chances of receiving an ITA for British Columbia.
- Your occupation or skills play an important role. Check whether your profession is listed under the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
