Business Innovation extension stream
This provisional visa enables Business Innovation stream holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) to prolong their residency in Australia.
- You may be eligible to extend your stay for up to two additional years, allowing you to remain in Australia for a total of six years from the date of grant of your Subclass 188 visa in the Business Innovation stream, subject to meeting certain requirements.
- Only one Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) may have been held previously.
- Holding a Subclass 188 visa in the Business Innovation stream is a prerequisite.
- The minimum period for holding your Subclass 188 visa in the Business Innovation stream is three years.

Basic Requirements For Business Innovation (Provisional) Visa
Here are the basic eligibility criteria of subclass 188 visa
- Show a revenue of AUD 750,000 or more in two of the past four fiscal years for the business.
- Own assets worth AUD 1,250,000 as a company or an individual.
- Be nominated by an Australian state or territory.
- Score at least 65 on IELTS, PTE or other language test.
- Applicants must be under the age of 55.
