What is the Subclass 190 visa?
The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) offers skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government the opportunity to live and work in Australia permanently. This visa allows you to work and study anywhere in Australia, however, you must live in the nominating state/territory for the first two years after the visa has been granted. Other benefits include the ability to sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence, enrol in Medicare, and travel to and from Australia for five years.
