The International Skilled Worker (ISW) category under the SINP or Saskatchewan PNP program is designed for skilled workers living abroad who wish to work and settle in Saskatchewan. ISW offers 4 different sub-categories for skilled workers to achieve their dream of living and working in Saskatchewan.
1. Saskatchewan Express Entry Program
The Saskatchewan Express Entry program is perfect for skilled workers who want to move to Saskatchewan but don’t have a job offer. Whether you're living in India, abroad, or in Canada, you must be in the IRCC Express Entry Pool to be eligible. - Score a Minimum of 60 Points on the SINP points calculator
- Have a Language Test Result that meets the Express Entry min language requirements.
- Post secondary education, equivalent to one year of Canadian education.
- ECA is mandatory from an IRCC-approved organization if you studied outside Canada.
- Must have work experience that is highly skilled under NOC - TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 and not in the SINP excluded occupation list.
- Must show proof of funds at the time of application to support yourself and your family.

2. ISW Tech Talent Pathway
The Saskatchewan Tech Talent sub-category is tailored for high-skilled workers in the technology and innovation sectors. If you have a job offer in Saskatchewan, whether you're living in Canada or abroad. this pathway could be your opportunity to advance your career in a thriving industry. While being in the IRCC Express Entry Pool is optional, meeting the requirements can set you on the path to success in Saskatchewan.
Eligibility criteria if you want to apply through Saskatchewan EOI system (non-express entry) or express entry pool.
- Common eligibility either living Saskatchewan/ inside or outside Canada
- If currently working for the employer who provided the job offer, you must meet the language requirements set by them.
- Show your intent to work and reside in Saskatchewan.
- If currently not working with your employer who provided job offer, then you must have English and/or French language ability of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 or higher.
- Have post-secondary education related to the job offered, such as a Master's or Bachelor's degree, a three-year degree, or a diploma from a two-year program at a recognized institution.
- Have a permanent, full-time tech or innovation job offer in Saskatchewan with a valid SINP Job Approval Letter. Employers must register with SINP to provide this letter.
- You can apply for this program only if your occupation is listed in the high-skilled technology and innovation fields.
- If Applying from Saskatchewan
- Currently working in Saskatchewan.
- Have six months (780 hours) of full-time work experience (30+ hours per week) with the employer who provided your job offer letter.
- You must have one year of work experience in your occupation within last 5 years, if you lack at least 6 months of full-time work experience.
- If Applying from Inside or Outside Canada but not Saskatchewan
- One year of high-skilled related work experience in your desired eligible occupation within the last 5 years.
These are two additional eligibility requirements for Express Entry candidates.

3. ISW Occupation In-Demand
This program is for skilled workers who are highly skilled in an in-demand occupation but don’t have a job offer in Saskatchewan. You can apply if you’re living abroad or already in Canada, as long as you meet the specific requirements. It gives you a chance to move to Saskatchewan based on your skills and experience, even without a job offer.
- You either live outside of Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada.

4. ISW Employment Offer
This sub-category is for skilled workers who have a job offer in Saskatchewan. You can apply if you’re living abroad or already in Canada, as long as you meet the specific requirements.

2. Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Stream
The Entrepreneur and Farm Category under the SINP is designed for foreign nationals and graduates who want to start, partner in, or manage a business or farm in Saskatchewan while residing in the province. Entrepreneur Category
The Entrepreneur Category is for foreign nationals who want to start or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and actively manage it while living in the province. This category offers a great opportunity to build a successful business and secure a future in one of Canada's most welcoming regions.

4. Saskatchewan Experience Categories
The Saskatchewan Experience category is designed for foreign nationals who are already residing and working in Saskatchewan with a valid work permit. It includes six sub-categories that allow these individuals to apply under the SINP.
This sub-category is for skilled workers who meet the eligibility requirements.
- You should have at least six months (780 hours) of full-time (30+ hours per week) work experience in the job with the employer who issued your Job Approval Letter.
- You must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer
- The job offer must be in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) TEER "0", "1", "2", or "3" or in a designated trade.
- If your job offers in TEER "4" or "5" occupations, you must have at least a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.
- If you have an open work permit and your spouse was the principal applicant, the SINP may request additional documentation to verify that both of you are residing in Saskatchewan.
- A work permit issued by IRCC must be for a National Occupation Classification (NOC) TEER category "0", "1", "2", or "3" occupations, or for a designated trade.

- Applicants must have been working for more than six months with a valid work permit for the employer offering the job or have previously worked in Saskatchewan for a minimum of six months.
- Applicants must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.

- NOC 885100: Livestock labourers
- NOC 85101: Harvesting labourers
- NOC 84120: Specialized livestock workers and farm machinery operators
- NOC 85103: Nursery and Greenhouse labourers
This sub-category is for skilled workers who meet the eligibility requirements.
- Applicants must have been working full-time in Saskatchewan on a temporary work permit for at least six months
- Eligible professions for applicants include being a physician, nurse, or another health professional.
This sub-category is for skilled workers who meet the eligibility requirements.
- Currently working in Saskatchewan on a temporary work permit through a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
- You must have a minimum of six months (780 hours) of continuous full-time work experience (30+ hours per week) in the position with the employer who issued your Job Approval Letter, all under a valid work permit.
- Completion of at least Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification is necessary.
- A permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan hospitality employer who is SINP-approved is required.
- You should meet or exceed Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) level 4 in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- A valid work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) via a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is required for the following roles
- Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6513)
- Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6711)
- Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6731)
This sub-category is for skilled workers who meet the eligibility requirements.
- You need to have at least six months (780 hours) of full-time experience (30 or more hours per week) working for the employer who provided your Job Approval Letter. This experience should be under a valid work permit supported by an LMIA and must be continuous.
- You must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s license.
- You should have a permanent, full-time job offer from your employer, who must be a trucking firm approved in Saskatchewan.
- You must demonstrate a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 4 or higher in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- You are required to have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter. Your employer should be registered with the SINP and will provide this letter if you meet their criteria.
This sub-category is for skilled workers who meet the eligibility requirements.
- If you have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute
- Graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan with a certificate, diploma, or degree.
- Minimum of 6 months (or 780 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan
- Currently hold a valid post-graduation work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

- If you have graduated from an institute in Canada but not in Saskatchewan
- Minimum of 6 months (or 780 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan
- Currently hold a valid post-graduation work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
- You must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer under the National Occupation Classification (NOC) TEER level "0", "1", "2", or "3"; or in a designated trade.

- You must have completed a program from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada (outside of Saskatchewan) equivalent to at least one academic year (8 months) of full-time study.
