Latest British Columbia PNP Draws 2024

In the first BC PNP draw of June, 68 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency were issued in targeted rounds.
The draw was also the largest so far in 2021, surpassing the previous high of 63 ITAs issued in a single draw.
British Columbia has been consistently conducting these weekly draws without breaks since the beginning of its immigration news updates.
These draws aim to attract skilled workers in high-demand occupations to fill labor market shortages across the province.
Recently, the trend has shifted towards reducing the number of invitations and increasing the cutoff scores.

In a targeted draw for 35 tech occupations, 33 invitations were sent out under the BC PNP Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including their Express Entry options, with the cutoff score remaining the same as the previous draw on May 22.
Meanwhile, a total of 2,443 candidates qualified for the draw held on June 8, with minimum scores ranging from 80 to 97 depending on the category and stream of immigration.
Additionally, 8 invitations were issued to early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).
This category-based draw was introduced to address specific labor shortages in the province’s construction industry.
Another 14 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations were invited, reflecting a new category-based draw introduced in late 2023.
The healthcare-related occupations included in this draw range from nurses and physicians to laboratory technicians and other healthcare professionals.
Moreover, 13 profiles from 39 healthcare-related occupations received invitations to apply for permanent residency.

.
Despite the reduction in the number of ITAs, British Columbia remains committed to welcoming new immigrants and addressing labor market shortages through the BC PNP program.
